In 1994, the Emons Group embarked on a new challenge: the establishment of a branch in Teplice, Czech Republic. One of the reasons was the partnership of the glass division Van Huët with glass manufacturer AGC. The establishment turned out to be a step in the right direction because it has existed for 25 years now!
After 10 years, the original location had been outgrown: that’s why our Czech colleagues moved to a new location in Teplice in 2004. This new location focused on driver training, the storage and transhipment of glass, and became a location for a driver change and driver management. The move turned out to be the right choice because this location has been working with great dedication and enthusiasm for going on fifteen years.
The team is headed by country manager Tomáš Kordík. The Emons Group in Teplice now employs around 200 people, both in the office and on the road.
Together with the other branches of the Emons Group in Poland, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands, Van Huët is an important player in the European transport market.
